Starting the physiotherapy program in 2015 ultimately marked the beginning of a years-long period of interest in the human body and its functioning. By the end of this study, my interest in medicine and overall healthcare had grown. After working for a year as a physiotherapist, it became clear in 2020 that osteopathy was the perfect next step to expand my enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge about the human body and to share this with others. In June 2024, I completed the Master of Science in Osteopathy at the International Academy of Osteopathy (IAO) and Buckinghamshire New University.

From a young age, I have been active in various sports such as football, skiing, and tennis. Over time, my passion for (elite) sports and knowledge of the human body came together, allowing me to gain experience with several professional sports clubs. In addition to being active in paramedical and alternative healthcare, I wanted to contribute to scientific research. This ultimately led to a position as a research assistant at Maastricht University, where I focused on predicting football performance using artificial intelligence (AI) for the women’s department of Fortuna Sittard.

Since September 2024, I have also been active as a teacher at The International Academy of Osteopathy. Here, I contribute to the development of future osteopaths through my knowledge and experience in (alternative) healthcare. I teach at the academy’s locations in Antwerp, Ghent, Copenhagen and Zeist.

I am continuously engaged in professional development, taking courses and actively working as an osteopath within the (elite) sports and performance field. In this way, I strive to apply the most effective treatment for each individual, tailored to their specific needs and focused on optimal recovery and overall well-being.
