Osteopaat

My approach

During the first consultation, as an osteopath, I aim to answer three key questions:

  • What is causing your pain and what triggers it? Can this be treated by me?
  • What is/are the possible causes, both local and regional?
  • What factors might be hindering your natural recorvey? Why has the complaint persisted?

Based on this, you will receive an integrated osteopathical (movement) assesment. Afterwards, a treatment begins with techniques tailored to achieve the optimal result.

The number of treatments required, depends on the complaint and the individual. The initial treatments are scheduled close together. Afterwards, depending on the nature of the complaint and the recovery process, the time between sessions gradually increases. If no clear improvement is observed, we will evaluate together and discuss alternative options.

It is possible that after a treatment you may experience minor muscle soreness throughout the body, and you might feel tired, cold/chilly, warm/flushed, or fatigued. This is often a response to the stimuli applied during the treatment and is a normal reaction of the body. You will receive specific guidance on what to personally expect as a reaction and how to manage it.
